Why can't I sleep?

Well, the Christmas festivities officially begin tomorrow. I know it's kind of childish, but I can't help but be excited. I get to see my two-year-old cousin, Sophie, tomorrow for the first time in a year and a half, so that'll be awesome. I really enjoyed Jared today. It's been forever since I've actually gotten to spend time with him. We both work so much. It's going to be so nice when he's in school and I'm teaching. We'll have so much more time, and he won't be so exhausted all the time. I love him so much.

Wow...

Well, I finally got out of the hades that was resource, only to be asked to fill in 6th period for the social development teacher. I definitely think I'll be going with elementary, rather than junior high when I start teaching.

On a completely different note, Jared and I had a nice little conversation last night about where we stand with God and what we need to do to grow closer to Him and to each other. It was really nice. I never feel closer to Jared than when we're having deep, meaningful discussions about our Lord.

Jared was wonderful last night. He took me out on a real date, which has been rare since our wedding. We had a nice dinner at Outback, then played miniature golf for a couple of hours. It was so much fun just being with him. I love him so much!

What was I thinking?!

So... I signed up to sub in a resource class at a junior high school. The day isn't even half over yet. Never again.

Bonjour

I don't know why I sign up for these things. I always play around for a day or two and lose interest. But I suppose it passes the time. I drove for an hour to get to school today. My class is supposed to last three hours. It ended after thirty minutes. Such a waste of time. I don't care, though, really. I get the credits either way, and that's all that really matters. I picked up the new Relient K Christmas album. I liked it a lot...possibly as much as I like Dean Martin's "Baby, It's Cold Outside". So...kudos to RK. :) Other than that...I guess not much is going on today. My amazing, wonderful husband, Jared, spilled ginger ale all over my laptop, so that pretty much stinks. It's going to cost about a thousand dollars to fix. It's okay, though. I still love him.
